TJC has released the new Ambulatory standards for the Primary Care Medical Home Option, effective July 1, 2011. They are additional EPs and a few new standards, and can be found atwww.jointcommission.org/assets/1/18/PCMH_Standard_EPs_Scoring_20110718.pdf Posted August 8, 2011.
- Start to get ready for the new Patient Centered Communication requirements. They go into effect in January 2012. You will have to update your policies and processes to ensure that you are in compliance. See the standards and changes. Updated June 10, 2011.
